Kim Pasion is a founding member of Ethiopian Orphan Releif, Inc. She has found her perfect job--Motherhood. Growing up in Columbia Falls, M
T, she moved to Oregon after attending nursing school. Kim worked for ten years for a prominent orthopedic surgeon in Salem, OR. During this time, she also volunteered with the Salem Police Department and directed their Annual Christmas Toy Drive. Kim was given the honor of Volunteer of the Month and Distinguished Service Award for her work. Her work with EOR is close to her heart. While in Ethiopia bringing home her daughter Annie Rose, Kim was amazed at the resilience of the children in Ethiopia. Seeing the smiles on the children's faces in the adversity they were facing will forever touch her. In her spare time, she volunteers at her son's school, enjoys traveling and gardening. Kim lives in Portland, OR with her husband Chris and their children Anthony and Annie Rose. Annie Rose was adopted from Ethiopia in 2007.

Lauren Andronici-Lights of Hope Chair; Medical Liaison/Coordinator & Partner/Project Chair
Lauren Andronici is a Certified Nurse Midwife, catching babies in Vancouver, WA. She is the lead Midwife in a busy private practice and enjoys caring for women and teens. She has a B.A. from Hofstra University, a B.S. from Montana State and a M.S. from Oregon Health and Science University. Originally from the East Coast, this "Jersey Girl" has lived out west since 1992. She lives in Portland, OR with her husband Casey and their two beautiful, energetic daughters, Meron and Riley. Meron was adopted from Ethiopia in 2007.

Paige Chapman-Layland-Vice President, Public Relations, Blog Editor, Chair, Dead of Winter Ball
Paige Chapman-Layland has worked in the field of education and Early Intervention for much of the last 20 years.
She received her B.S. in Psychology and her M.S. in Elementary Education from The Florida State University. Paige is passionate about joyful play and developmentally appropriate practice. Enriching the lives of Ethiopia's children so that each day includes these elements is of paramount importance to her. Paige lives in Worthington, OH with her husband Albert and their children, Elliott and Astrid Meklit. Astrid Meklit was adopted from Ethiopia in 2007.

Shawn Rodda- Chair Tasfa Ethiopia, Partner & Projects Committee
Shawn is a construction and real estate attorney based in
Boulder, CO. She received her undergraduate degree from Penn State
University and her J.D. from Tulane University School of Law. She and
her husband, Justin, brought home their daughter,Lidya, from Ethiopia
in May of 2008. In addition to Lidya, Shawn and Justin are parents to
Nittany, a ten year old Golden Retriever. Shawn in an active member of
the Colorado Ethiopia Adopt group, and enjoys hiking, camping, skiing,
playing with Lidya, and all things Ethiopia.

Katie Bell- Secretary, Partner & Projects Committee, Tasfa Ethiopia Committee
Kathryn Bell is a stay at home mom of 6 kids, 3 adopted from Ethiopia. She lives outside of Denver, CO with her husband Don. She is an active member of the Rocky Mountain Ethiopian Adoption Group, and the hostess of the group's annual get together. She was also the lead volunteer for many years at Lifeline Puppy Rescue. She graduated from Regis College in 2002 with a degree in Sociology and enjoys traveling, cooking and laundry.

Jenny Petersen-Treasurer, Lights of Hope Chair
Jenny Petersen is a stay at home mom to 3 kids, Finley, Luc and Amelie. She, and husband Danny, live just outside Portland, Oregon. She enjoys running with her dog, traveling, volunteering at her children’s school and spending time with her family. Their first trip to Ethiopia left a deep impression on their hearts and they look forward to returning. She and her husband are currently in the process of adopting again from Ethiopia. Jenny is excited to be a part of EOR and to help make a difference in the lives of orphans living in Ethiopia.
